Why is summer the best time to learn?
You might think: why study during summer break at all? Kids need fresh air, fun, and a break from school!
And it’s true — no child wants to study in the summer. Unless… the lessons are so fun that they actually look forward to them.
That’s what many of our students (and their parents) say. Their children are excited for every class. Why? Because our lessons are designed to be as engaging as possible.
We teach Russian through games, movies, cartoons, books, brainteasers, poems, tongue twisters, riddles, and more. But that’s just the beginning!
Group Russian lessons also help kids make new friends who speak the same language. That’s incredibly important for families living abroad — and it helps children keep up regular language practice.
Why are summer lessons so beneficial?
Summer is definitely a time to relax and take a break. But all teachers know how much kids tend to lose over those three months away from learning.
Knowledge fades. Handwriting gets worse. Even logic and focus suffer.
That’s why it’s a mistake to stop learning altogether during the summer holidays.
With gentle, fun lessons, your child will keep learning, stay in the habit of studying, and maintain discipline. Their brain will stay sharp through reading, writing, and speaking practice.
And the best part? Without the distraction of regular school, kids often absorb more in summer and make faster progress in just a few months.
Studies show that new knowledge fades after just 1–3 months — which is why many kids have to relearn last year’s material all over again come fall.
What can kids do in the summer?
Research shows that children lose up to 30% of what they learned during the school year if they don’t study during summer break. That’s why it’s crucial to find summer activities that keep their minds active.

Unfortunately, not every school or course offers a proper summer learning program.
