Why is diagnosis necessary?
🎯 Understanding the real level
The diagnosis provides an external reference point: the methodologist will help you understand what your child is already capable of doing right now, what they are good at, and in which direction they need to move forward.
👥 Choose the learning format
We organize mini-groups for up to 8 children, strictly based on age and language level. Diagnosis helps to determine exactly which group the child will feel comfortable in. We also offer private lessons if the group format isn’t suitable for your goals or you want a deeper immersion in the Russian language.
🧭 Choose a program
Palme has programs for bilingual children and for those who are learning Russian from scratch. The methodologist will help you choose the one that’s right for your child.
💬 Get answers about the school
The Methodist will explain how the education at Palme is organized and answer your questions about the format of the classes, the schedule, and the program.

Diagnosis in the Palme online school
Many Russian-speaking families in the United States, Canada, and Europe want to preserve their child's Russian language, but don't know where to start: one child understands the language, but responds in another language, another speaks Russian, but doesn't read or write.
Free diagnostics helps to figure this out in one meeting. A methodologist will determine the child's language level, explain how learning works at Palme, and recommend the appropriate program.
Diagnosis is not mandatory: after it, you decide whether to start the classes. And if you want to give it a try, the first lesson is also free.

Is it really free?
Yes. Diagnosis is free of charge, with no obligations or deposits required.
From what age can a diagnosis be performed?
For children aged 4 to 17 years. The presence of a parent is mandatory.
The child does not speak Russian at all. Will the diagnosis be appropriate?
