Disciplined children are more successful than others. How can this be achieved?

Discipline is obeying rules. And not necessarily the rules set by parents or teachers. If a child develops self-discipline, it will help him or her achieve any goal. Here are some examples:

- Get self-educated - study hard

- Saving up - regularly set aside the right amount of money according to the plan

- Get into the right college - to study subjects, to give up entertainment to study

- Improve health - Exercise regularly, harden yourself

The good news is that discipline can be taught. Of course, it is easier to do it from an early age, but it is also effective later, it just takes more time.

How to help your child become more disciplined

- Form healthy habits. For example, summarize your day, plan your activities for the week, wake up and go to sleep at the same time.

- Visualize. Children think visually, so use chalkboards, notepads to help your child see the result of discipline. For example, you can cross out all the days your child has exercised. He won't want to interrupt the long string of underlines on the calendar himself.

- Teach him to do what he promised. If he said he would sit down to do his assignments at 3 p.m., then there should be nothing to stop him from doing so.

- Do not guard against the consequences of indiscipline. If he didn't set the alarm clock and overslept getting up for school, let him explain to the teacher what happened. Such experience helps in the future.

- Control reality. If your child is very active, it is unlikely that he will be able to do one thing for long. Help him or her to take his or her own characteristics into account.

- Help you make "long shots". For example, instead of buying a 6-month subscription to an online school, buy an annual subscription. The child will adjust his or her life to this "long shot" in advance and will benefit greatly by developing self-discipline.

You are always welcome at our school. The teachers work systematically with the children, also teaching them self-discipline.
