Friends! On the threshold of winter holidays our online school announces the beginning of New Year events in which you can take an active part, get a lot of positive emotions, develop your language skills, and most importantly, get gifts from Palme School.
In Russian language classes starting December 1, our students will take part in a New Year's themed quest, which will culminate in holiday lessons at the end of the month, as well as:
Dec. 1 The competition for all students of the school starts, where you can choose to participate in any of the FOUR categories. You can enter all categories if you wish.

1 category "AUTHOR'S DRAWING"
Creating a themed drawing: 'The Mascot of the New Year' - the Green Wood Dragon is succeeded by the Green Wood Snake in the year 2025.
Drawing Requirements:
- The drawing is dedicated to the symbol of the year 2025 - the Green Tree Snake;
- The drawing is made on a sheet of A4 paper;
- The picture is drawn with colored pencils, felt-tip pens, watercolors, gouache or pastels;
- A drawing depicts a given topic or a story on a given topic;
- The name and group of the participant must be signed in the lower right corner of the drawing on the front.
- The drawing should be sent to the bot in the personal account, sign the name and group of the participant.
2 category "Frosty Verse".
Reading a poem by heart in a New Year's image in class or at home on the theme: winter, Christmas, New Year.
Participant Requirements:
- For participants 4-6 years old, no less than 4 lines
- For participants ages 7-9, no less than 8 lines
- For participants 10-17 years of age, no less than 12 lines
- The New Year's or Christmas theme of the poem
- The poem is recited by heart
- The participant is festively dressed
- Speaking time no more than 2 minutes
- The poem can be told in class (the teacher submits the data about the participant to the form: group, date, time of the lesson, name of the participant) or make a video recording at home (the video is sent to the bot in the personal office by the parent or student).
3 category "NEW YEAR'S OPENING"
Creating a festive New Year's greeting card (to parents, grandparents, friend, teacher, etc.).
Requirements:
- The postcard is made on an A4 sheet or cardboard (you can use colored paper)
- The postcard features New Year's characters or holiday attributes: Christmas tree, Christmas toys, garlands, sparklers, snowflakes and others.
- The card bears a congratulatory inscription in Russian
- The card is signed "from" and "to"
- The postcard is photographed against a light background and with good lighting
- The postcard should be sent to the bot, signed with the participant's name and group.
Category 4 "LETTER TO FRED MOROS"
Creating a letter to Santa Claus (creative work and text message). Santa Claus reads each letter carefully, and his helpers snowmen-postmen help to sort out the mail.
In their messages, children can make requests to the wizard, write congratulations and good wishes, share their dreams and tell their stories.
3 finalists, whose works will be especially touched by the organizers of the contest will receive gifts from Santa's helpers - the Palme School team.
Requirements:
- The letter is presented on a sheet of A4 paper
- The participant provides photographed work of good quality
- No foreign objects should be present in the photo
- The competition work must be neatly done
- The letter entered in the contest must be completed by the participant without adult assistance
- Work downloaded from the internet is not reviewed by the Palme School team
- The name and group of the participant must be signed in the lower right hand corner of the letter on the front of the letter.
