Are your son and daughter lingering on their smartphones/tablets? Of course, at first, gadgets were real helpers and even wands for busy parents. But a harmless hobby has grown into a widespread addiction. Child psychologists reassure moms and dads - it's real to get rid of it. Follow these 5 important steps.
Step 1: Analyze the time spent with the children
How often do you communicate with your child, share impressions, experiences? How rich is your leisure time?
Step 2: Find a worthy replacement
The easiest thing to do is to take a gadget away from your child. But you can't just take away the fun. If you already have such an idea, you need to think in advance what you will please in return. It can be an interesting activity for the child - swimming, drawing, creative crafts.
Step 3: Be an example
Often moms and dads themselves spend a lot of time on the Internet. So what do you expect your child to do? He's just following your not-so-good example. You want to wean your child off gadgets? Wean yourself off them right away. At least limit your time on the Internet.
Step 4: Communicate with children in person
No games, social networks, cartoons can replace live communication between children and parents. Talk as often as possible about topics of interest to children.
Step 5: Teach to be responsible
Agree in advance on the time spent near the monitor. Child psychologists advise schoolchildren to limit the time from one hour to one and a half hours.
