The right phrases instead of the usual hurtful ones

Such phrases moms and dads do not say to their acquaintances, friends, colleagues at work. Otherwise, they simply will not want to communicate with them. Of course, offensive words of everyone can hurt and forever "discourage" the desire to contact again.

But then why do adults throw such phrases at children without a second thought? How, in fact, is a child worse than a colleague, friend or acquaintance? But it is from childhood that the foundation of a child's future is laid. Children's self-esteem will be formed from such "bricks".

Therefore, before it's too late, hurry up to replace the list of hurtful phrases with the right ones that will not traumatize the child, and on the contrary, will help to grow self-confident and happy.

Surely all parents have their own popular expressions. We offer a standard selection of phrases and their softer counterpart, that child psychologists recommend you use with your son and daughter:

It's a shame: You can't do it anyway! Better not take it on at all if you don't know how. Hands are like hooks.
That's right: I always believe in you. I know you can do it! Even if something suddenly fails, don't be upset.

Hurt: Shut your mouth. No one asked you at all. I'm the last letter in the alphabet. I don't care what you think.
Right: I really want your opinion. Let's talk about it. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

It's a shame: If you don't have a mind, you're a cripple.
Right: Let me explain it to you again. Tell me what you didn't understand.

It's a shame: With your chicken brains, you'll never amount to anything in life!
Correct: You are very smart and capable. Believe me, you can achieve a lot in the future.

Offensive: Turn on your brain.
That's right: Look carefully, concentrate. Think hard about it.

Hurt: Stop shedding your crocodile tears. Look at yourself! How ugly you are when you sob.
Right: I can see that you're upset about something. Tell me what's wrong. Can I help you?

Other familiar phrases can be substituted in the same waywhich parents often say automatically, to the correct ones, thus showing respect and love to the child.
