10 Christmas games for kids and adults

During family gatherings, you don't just want to have heartfelt conversations, you also want to have fun. If you are going to spend Christmas in a family circle, we offer you 10 interesting Christmas games. There's no doubt that you won't be bored!

Games for the whole company

  1. 2 truths - 1 lie: think of or remember three stories that happened to you or someone you know at Christmas. Only 2 of the stories are true. In the end, the players have to guess which story is fictitious.
  2. Limbo for Christmas: put on some Christmas songs, put on a scarf, and have everyone take turns dancing to the music under the scarf. By the way, don't forget to lower the scarf with each round. The winner is the one who manages to pass under the lowest level without touching the scarf.
  3. Count by eye: fill a transparent jar with sweets, counting the number of sweets beforehand. Then invite the guests to determine by eye how many pieces of candy, nuts or cookies are in the jar. In the end, the one who is closest to the correct number will win.
  4. Five seconds: ask the players to quickly name 3 things related to Christmas. For example, 3 songs, or 3 movies. Important: You must be able to do it in 5 seconds. If a player is on time, he/she gets a point. At the end, summarize the results and determine the winner.
  5. Charade: You will need a piece of paper and a pen. Divide the paper into several narrow strips and on each strip write a word related to the Christmas theme. Then invite each player to draw out a strip with the word on it. The player's task is to show, without words, what the word is. The others guess!

5 Christmas games for kids

  1. The garbage man game: hide some Christmas items around the house. The children have to find them all. Here are some examples of things: a Christmas hat, sparklers, Christmas tree decorations, sweets - candy or cookies.
  2. Who I am is the Christmas version. The player's task is to guess the Christmas character that is written on his forehead. Not literally, of course, but on a leaf. Fasten the leaf with the word on a rubber band or under a handkerchief, but so that the guesser can not see the inscription. The player should ask leading questions about his character, and the others answer - yes or no. For example, who can be guessed - Russian Santa Claus or Santa Claus, Rudolph the reindeer, Grinch, elf, snowman, or Russian Snow Maiden. The main thing is that the child should know all these characters.
  3. Christmas quiz: here you have to prepare in advance. So, the presenter thinks up questions on the theme of Christmas and gives options for answers. The children have to choose the right answer and earn a point. For example, you can ask the questions: What is the name of Santa's main reindeer? Or how does Santa Claus get into the house on Christmas Day?
  4. Paper snowballs - You will need old newspapers or magazines. Place sheets of newspaper on the floor, and children should crumple them into "snowballs" to the music. When the music stops, the one who has crumpled the most snowballs wins.
  5. Snowball in a spoonFor this game you need ordinary absorbent cotton. So, form a small ball and put it on a spoon. The child's task is to run with the spoon around the table or Christmas tree without dropping the snowball. This will not be easy! After all, the snowball is light!
