Why Palme School's cyclical program is better than any linear program

Hi, Palme School is here. Today we would like to introduce you to the differences between our language school's cyclical and linear programs.

Linear program is a step-by-step group learning experience. Students gradually learn the material and move to new levels. The information is gradually becoming more complex, the whole group moves at the same pace, and if one of the students misses a class for any reason, he or she has to study the missed material on his or her own or stop the class if he or she fails.

That's why many parents are critical of online group classes - young children can suddenly fall ill, or the family decides to suspend classes for the vacations, and paid lessons get burned out.

Cyclical The training program assumes that the study of the material goes in blocks, where vocabulary, speaking, grammar are always at the same level of difficulty.

For example, in of our Russian language classes Beginner preschoolers (ages 4-6) talk with Masha and the Bears about family, everyday life, and other interesting things. Each lesson they discuss a new concept.

Important! Our cyclical program is your child's personalized learning trajectory.

Why?

Your child does not have to be tied to a specific start date, such as September or New Year's Eve. We accept students all year round. As soon as a student has studied and mastered all the modules of one level, he/she is transferred to the next level.

That means:

The child can start the class at any time.
You can go on vacation - the subscription will be frozen for that period and the student will not lose progress.
You can stay on one level longer if you need to refresh your knowledge.
You can get to the next level faster if the knowledge allows you to move forward and the rest of the group is not yet ready.

1 cycle consists of 7 units (35 lessons) or 14 units (70 lessons). A cycle lasts approximately 8-9 months of continuous training.

For each cycle within an age category, we make a connection to a specific character or set of themes. And each cycle has its own plot, which the pupils go through with interest.
