How to teach your child to finish things. Parenting tips.

Do you notice that your son or daughter regularly (or from time to time) does not finish what they started? The girl doesn't want to go to dancing anymore, because it takes a lot of rehearsal. And the boy refuses to train at the sports club because he still finds it difficult. The started drawing is not finished, and cleaning in the children's room is abandoned halfway through? The reasons why the child does not bring his affairs to the end, can be very different. Among them and lack of motivation, and laziness, and difficulties, fears. How can loving parents help children not to stop halfway every time?

- Motivate the child with a "bonus" that is interesting to them. Agree, when there is a goal, to do even not very interesting work, the task is not so difficult. Therefore, sometimes you need to offer your children something pleasant in return for the work done to the end. For schoolchildren such a surprise can be a trip to the movies or to visit friends, and for younger children - watching cartoons.

- Doing your favorite things. It is always easier to do things that are fun. Therefore, be sure to offer your child activities that interest him or her. If your daughter or son likes to draw, enroll him or her in an art studio. In addition, offer to participate in children's drawing competitions. Not only victory, but also participation will give a lot of positivity.

- Teaching to overcome obstacles. Sometimes a child refuses to do something he or she is interested in just because it is difficult. Help your son and daughter to find a better solution and finally finish what they started. For example, if a child finds it difficult to mold a beautiful figure out of ordinary plasticine, offer to do the same out of a more pliable material - molding dough.

- Believe in the child and praise their achievements. It is very important for every child to know that they are believed in. Therefore, even before the beginning of any activity do not forget to encourage and say that you believe in him. Remember how once he was not able to make a New Year's craft, but with a little effort and patience he was able to make his wish come true.

Do not criticize, do not scold, but try to help and support - this is the task of all caring parents who dream to bring up a purposeful person who always brings his work to the end.
