When is the best time to start learning a language?
Many of our students come to us for the first time in January instead of September. But why is January the best month to learn languages?
January is a time of the new. After all, January is not just the beginning of the year. It is a month of hope for a new life and fulfillment of all desires.
Most of us make promises to start exercising in January or to start being proactive. For example, reading one book a week or studying psychology.
January is also the shortest working month of the year. It has a lot of days off, and after the rest there is a lot of energy for self-development. That's why it's so easy to start something you've never been able to decide to do.
For many, one such activity is learning a language.
How to start making a difference this January
If you've been waiting for a sign, this is it. There's no reason to put things off any longer. We have to start now.
But how do you make it as easy as possible? You have to start with a mindset. It is the mindset that gives great motivation for accomplishment.
Right now, you can start your perfect year with the right resolutions. Don't make the mistakes of the past, start with a clean slate. You don't get this chance more than once a year.
- Make a plan for the year and set goals for the next 12 months. Break the goals down into smaller tasks so they don't seem too big and complicated.
- Follow the plan and don't forget to praise and reward yourself even for small victories. It is very encouraging and motivating to move forward.
- You can keep a diary of your achievements to visually observe your progress.
- Remember, it only takes 21 days of doing certain actions to form a habit. During this time, the brain accepts these actions and they become almost automatic.
You can rest easy until January 9, and from the 10th you can start a new useful habit. Then, by the end of January, you will be used to doing what you wanted to do on a regular basis.
